Happy Ram Navami!!

Jai Shri Ram! 

It was our immense pleasure to conduct our 1st online story telling Competition,for children of age 4 to 12 years,in 3 categories.:

Group I: 4 to 6 years

Group II: 6 to 9 years and 

Group III:9 to 12 years)

on the topic"Shri Ram",on the occasion of Shri Ram Navami. 

We reached to people through social media and we got very good response. The enthusiastic participants of these age groups sent their wonderful videos with good content. 

It was quite a challenge ,enjoyment as well as enrichment for the judges to evaluate each and every contestant's performance.  

The judges evaluated each performance on following points:  

1) Facial expression and hand gestures -10 marks 

2) Vocal intonation-10 marks 

3) Connection of the candidate with the story-10 marks 

4) Connection of the candidate with the audience-10 marks 

5) Content-10 marks Content included 5 Cs of story telling: circumstance, conflict, crisis, climax and conclusion covered or not ... or 4 Ps of story telling: people, place, plot and purpose/moral covered or not? 

6)Start greeting, introduction, exit note, end greeting?-10 marks 

From the 1st level, participants who excelled, were filtered to 2nd level and again to 3rd level, where they were judged even more meticulously. In all, the judges watched each presentation at least 5 to 6 times. We are conducting this contest not only as competition, but also as an activity to inbibe good values in children, to help learn children about our rich Indian Culture, Ramayan. 

By preparing for this contest, the children have applied their creativity, oratory, public speaking,presentation skills,content writing etc. All these will help children in their all round development.  

About the results: Every one has performed well!!
